Teacher Appreciation Week: Celebrate with a Scavenger Hunt!
Written by Teacher Ambassador Mrs. Marissa Martinez, Northside ISD Boone Murray Elementary.
As Teacher Appreciation Week draws near we want to honor those educators who are working so hard to keep our kids learning even when we are not physically in school. At Give More Hugs, we know first hand, that you have taken on the challenge of educating kids in more ways than just academics for years, but now you’ve been handed another challenge- education through distance learning.
LET US CELEBRATE YOU
If there was ever a time to celebrate teachers, that time is now. Join us next week, as we honor teachers with a fun giveaway and scavenger hunt teacher celebration with a chance to win one of our AMAZON gift cards! If there is one thing teachers love right now, it’s AMAZON! (At least this teacher does)
HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
Give More Hugs wants to make your teacher appreciation week one that is fun and memorable. All you have to do is help us celebrate by participating in our daily scavenger hunt tasks. It’s as simple as snapping a pic of the given task, posting it to social media and tagging Give More Hugs in your post using one of our hashtags. After you post your scavenger hunt photo, tag us, and enter your name in the raffle each day. Raffle will be posted on our Facebook page each day at 8am and will close at 9pm. One entry per day for your chance to win an Amazon Gift Card. We will select 5 winners on Saturday, May 9,
Monday: “Thank a Teacher” (Post a pic on social media and say thank you to one teacher who inspires you- it can be a teammate, your former teacher, your child’s former teacher, etc)
Tuesday: “Show us what you’re reading” (snap a pic with your favorite book)
Wednesday: “That ME Time” (What is your favorite “me time” activity?)
